I havent read through the replies but have grace for yourself. For functions like this I usually go with a top that has flutter sleeves or butterfly sleeves that are short. Its got sleeves but for those that know to look you can tell you arent wearing Gs. They are cooler so for me they have been a good compromise when I dont want to deal with the drama at extended family functions.
