   Good post. I'm a woman with ADHD and struggle with what OP describes. My partner is great and understanding, but he can only do so much for me because the issue is literally in MY head. He can help make the environment more conducive to focus for me, but the hard work is what I have to do in my head, stopping intrusive thoughts. I wouldn't want him to take on the responsibility of anything other than listening to my requests to do or not do something. \n\nEverything you describe helps me as well.
