Gardnerella is a healthy bacteria that all vaginas have, and isnt harmful, but if theres more of it than there should be itll cause BV (bacterial vaginosis) Its not classed at an STI though, and you cant \u2018infect her with it, but if she starts smelling funky shell need to treat it otherwise it can lead to other health problems!
